That's a wrap on Carers Month! 💜
What a wonderful month of connection, conversations and celebration.
From peer support sessions and community events to opportunities to share experiences and raise awareness. Carers Month brought people together to recognise the invaluable contribution of carers.
This year Carer Gateway recognised as many carers as possible across many of our events including Carers Week High Tea Celebration at Parliament house, Blossoms of Appreciation where the carers participated in a dried-flower making class, Featherdale wildlife carer event and a First Nations Carers Event.
A heartfelt thank you to the carers who participated, shared their stories and connected with others as well as the organisations, partners and communities who helped shaped Carers Month.
