Two of my young people and all my money currently attending HPU (law school 2029 & and nursing 2030). One more waiting in the wings…. Wouldn’t have it any other way; this place and Dr. Q are both AMAZING.

My kids were trick-or-treating with Nido 2012-2016 ... and he looks exactly the same and has the same energy 10 years later. He is just amazing.

If Democrats had spent much of President Donald Trump’s second term searching for a way to break his grip on Washington, voters had now handed them one. The midterms generated a blue wave that swept Republicans out of power in the House and the Senate, reversing the party’s fortunes just two years after Trump’s return to the White House. The results amounted to a decisive rebuke of a President whose handling of the economy, rising prices, and the war with Iran had fueled widespread discontent, and who spent the closing days of the campaign musing about candidates’ anatomy and dismissing Americans’ concerns over their bottom line. For the first time since Trump returned to Washington, Democrats will be able to set the legislative agenda, compel testimony from Administration officials, investigate allegations of corruption, and force Republicans to take difficult votes. Party leaders see an opportunity to turn the public’s discontent with Trump into a sustained argument for returning Democrats to the White House in 2028. Interviews with more than two dozen Democratic leaders, strategists, and members of Congress reveal a party itching to fight on nearly every front the President has opened. But when the midterm victory laps conclude, the Democrats’ deeper problems will be waiting for them. Even leading up to their midterm victory, surveys showed the party remains unpopular. Its leaders are divided over how far left to move, what kind of economic message will win back the voters who abandoned them in 2024, and how aggressively to confront Trump. At the link in bio, read our new cover story on how Democrats could wield their newfound power. Photo Illustration by TIME (Source image: Jim Watson—AFP/Getty Images)

Two legendary London spots are coming together this Christmas. The iconic @pelliccicafe is taking over @theofficialselfridges’ Brass Rail, marking 60 years of the Oxford Street institution and the first collaboration in its history. It’s a meeting of two of the city’s most beloved dining rooms, with the Bethnal Green family cafe, which has been feeding the East End since 1900, bringing its cooking into the West End for a very limited run. The menu features penne with the family’s pesto or ragù, the Big Bang Ciabatta, stuffed with chicken schnitzel, mozzarella and more ragù, and a special Reuben that piles toasted salt beef, sauerkraut, mozzarella, pesto and gherkin into an epic sandwich. You can add a spoonful of ragù to any dish on the menu too. Finish with school cake and custard, as nature intended. There’s a run of merch to take home, from caps to T-shirts, with a selection of pantry products dropping VERY soon, so you can have a feed whilst finishing your Christmas shopping. Open now until Christmas at The Brass Rail, Selfridges, Oxford Street.
Comment "nanban" and I'll DM you the recipe I've always had a long standing love affair with japanese food, and chicken nanban is one of those dishes that should, by all manners and means, get the spotlight that sushi and ramen do. It's sharp, sweet and deadly with a few very cold beers. Enjoy ❤️ #ChickenNanban #JapaneseCooking #JapaneseFood #ChickenRecipes #HomeCooking Chicken nanban, Japanese fried chicken, chicken nanban recipe, Japanese comfort food, Miyazaki chicken, Japanese recipes, crispy chicken, homemade tartar sauce, Japanese tartar sauce, sweet and sour chicken, Japanese chicken recipe, easy Japanese cooking, authentic Japanese food, Japanese home cooking, fried chicken recipe, chicken dinner ideas, Japanese cuisine, quick dinner recipes, Asian comfort food, crispy chicken with tartar sauce
