🎬 JASON LEWIS: Before becoming Smith Jerrod, he was a fashion icon.

Born in Newport Beach, California, in 1971, Jason Lewis began his modeling career at 21, moving to Paris to pursue his dream. His early years were challenging, marked by financial struggles and even periods of homelessness. But his determination paid off.

During the 1990s, Jason became one of the most recognizable male models of his generation, working with major names in fashion, including GUESS?, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, Versace, Valentino and Michael Kors. His career took him across the runways and fashion capitals of the world.

In 2003, he entered television history as Smith Jerrod, the charming young model who captured Samantha Jones’s heart in Sex and the City. His chemistry with Kim Cattrall made Smith one of the show’s most memorable romantic characters. He reprised the role in both feature films, released in 2008 and 2010.

Beyond acting, Jason has explored new creative paths, including writing a nine-book fantasy saga. He has also appeared on Dancing with the Stars.

From international runways to one of television’s most iconic romances, Jason Lewis proved there was much more to his story than a handsome face.

✨ Fashion made him a model. Sex and the City made him unforgettable.

Sometimes the solution starts BEFORE we ever pick up our shears or head to the shampoo bowl! 👏🏼

Here’s a little peek inside my Connecticut class, where I had both stylists and curl friends learning together!

One thing I want to challenge my fellow stylists to do? If you’re thinking it in your head, SAY IT OUT LOUD! 🗣️

We forget that what feels like common sense to us isn’t always common knowledge to our clients.

Every little detail is an opportunity to educate, inspire, and help your client understand their hair a little bit deeper.

And sometimes solving the problem is SIMPLE!

These curls had lost a little of their juice, so we used a little Hair Renew Conditioner, a little water, and I create volume and a few simple techniques to bring back some life.

No shampoo bowl. No haircut. Just understanding the WHY behind the WHAT!
