John Baker

Hey friends! Thought I’d share a little something I’m working on. It’s based on my mornings in Columbus, having coffee on the porch while the birds and squirrels darted all about, getting busy with their days. I made a watercolor sketch and now this!
I wanted to add a lot of texture, so I started the whole thing off, by sketching everything out with wall compound on canvas. Then paint! I think I’ll let it breathe, and finish it up tomorrow.
I’ll have lots of new pieces, cards, prints, and more at several art shows in the next couple of months, as well as commission news. Stay tuned!
