Justice for Javits. Bullying is never ok! Taking a life is just heinous Javits Frimpong. He was 15.
A year after moving from Ghana to join his father in New York, Javits was fatally shot while walking to school in the Bronx on October 29, 2026. He later died in hospital.
His father, Thomas Frimpong, says Javits had reported being bullied at school and that two students had recently been suspended. Police have not confirmed a connection between those allegations and the shooting.
As of October 30, investigators were searching for three people in connection with his death. No arrests had been reported.
His family is calling for justice. No child should lose their life on the way to school.
