On this day in 2011, I previewed the forthcoming release of Lucifer Rising and Other Sound Tracks via my website. When I was approached to do a soundtrack for Kenneth Anger’s film Lucifer Rising, he had a half-hour edit of the first part and I suggested that he should come to my house in Plumpton and set up a playback system in my studio for his 35mm film. As it was running, I started introducing my recorded music, instrument by instrument. The glue between music and images was superb; it seemed as though they were running in sync, even though they were two separate entities that had been brought together. I continued working on the soundtrack, doubled it in length and delivered it over to Kenneth Anger. He initially included it on a partial cut of the film that was shown at film festivals and various other events. Then it got bootlegged. I decided to release the work that I had created for this project in March 2012.

🔥 PAGE OF WANDS: an offer you’d normally brush off The opportunity is coming through someone or something that doesn’t look important. It could be a message from a person you hardly know, a small idea someone mentions in passing, or an invitation that sounds like a long shot. Your first instinct will be to say “maybe later” or to decide it isn’t for you. You’ve been taught to take only what looks polished and proven, and this one looks unfinished. Stay curious for a minute. Ask one more question and see what’s behind it. The things that change your life rarely arrive looking impressive. They look like a spark you almost ignored. 🪄 THE MAGICIAN: an opening you’re already prepared for The opportunity is coming because of something you’ve been doing for a long time without realising it counts. A skill, a habit, a way of solving problems. Someone has noticed, and they’re about to ask you for exactly that. You’ll feel surprised and a bit exposed, because you’ve never thought of it as special. Your mind may say “I’m not qualified enough.” You are. You’ve been preparing quietly for this moment, and the only thing missing is you saying yes before you talk yourself out of it. Use what you already have. Drop a ❤️ if it resonates #zodiacsigns #zodiac #astrology #astro #traveller
