3 days agoOn the bright side, probably stings less than if you had dropped it on a rock 🙈🙊#toosoon
3 days agoPainful, but at least you get a little Rolex chocolate with your coffee 🙂
4 days agoI love a good 5 digit Sub, but my SKX is nearing 20 years, scuba dives on the regular and hasn’t been serviced once (apart from gaskets for diving). And when the 7s26 goes, I can throw in a brand new NH35 for less than a dinner out. It’s those details combined that really make it my all time beater watch, serving on my wrist 95% of the time.
4 days agoMy sub has been in for a repair at a RSC and 3 months later, I'm still waiting.....
4 days agoTen years of daily memories makes the service story part of the watch’s history too. Will you share what was replaced and what was preserved when it comes back?
5 days agoLike an expensive brake service on a vintage 911… money well spent, my friend. Hope the Kermit comes back feeling brand new.
5 days ago1000 £ seems quiet high (I don't have a clue of prices in UK)? you don't know independants in the nearby ? I just made a complete overhaull of my 40's universal genève uni-compax chronograph with a 285 for 800 swiss francs 😅
5 days agoWould you not have considered any of the quality independent watchmakers? Genuine question not a zing. The issue at the big house is turn round. By the way team of guys doing the rounds at Mappin and Webb showcasing service was very interesting
