A couple years ago, I splurged while I was at @totalarcherychallenge and purchased the Magnacut Stoned Goat from @montanaknifecompany , which was my second MKC knife. Later that year I took it on my first archery mule deer hunt in Idaho and my goal was to put it to work.

I got close a couple times, but unfortunately my hunt was unsuccessful. What made the hunt the hardest wasn’t that I wasn’t successful, it was that I came back to my campsite and realized that my knife had fallen off my pack at some point on the mountain.

I immediately reached out to MKC customer service and was willing to purchase another. I know there are always new drops, so I wasn’t sure if they had any in stock. I told them I had just gotten it and hadn’t even been able to use it yet, but would buy whatever they had available. This is when I found out exactly who I was buying from. I had known MKC was a great company, but when they immediately responded letting me know they had me covered and a new knife was on the way, I experienced the true meaning of dealing with a quality company that puts their customers and supporters ahead of anything else.

@montanaknifecompany is the only knife company I intend to ever use in the field, and anytime I’m financially able to grab another knife, you know I’ll be doing so!
