Our final After Hours of the year was a Halloween hit! More than 70 attendees joined us at Crossnore Communities for Children for an evening of networking, costumes, and community impact.
Co-hosted by Skyline/Skybest, Signature Wealth Strategies, Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria, The Village Hospitality Group, and Avery Community Foundation, the evening featured a karaoke party thanks to the musical stylings of DJ Jazzy J, a spirited costume contest, and a little reverse trick-or-treating! Attendees brought candy donations to help make Halloween extra sweet for the kids at Crossnore this weekend.
The community spirit continued with our Business After Hours gift basket fundraiser, which raised more than $800 through raffle ticket sales to support the Chamber’s scholarship program for Avery County High School students. These funds help invest in the next generation of Avery County leaders and make educational opportunities more accessible for local students.
A big thank-you to the team at Crossnore Communities for Children, our co-hosts, and everyone who joined us to close out the year with fun, generosity, and connection!
Want to host the fun in 2027? Applications to host or co-host a Business After Hours event open in November 18th. Stay tuned for your chance to showcase your business and help us continue to connect, support, and inspire across Avery County.
