🚨 A 50-year-old carer has been jailed for 3 years after hidden CCTV caught her stealing £8,000 worth of jewellery from a vulnerable elderly man in Surrey. The victim’s family became suspicious when items went missing, installed a secret camera, and captured the theft on video.

The family called Surrey Police on December 3, 2025, while Jones was still at the home. Officers arrested her and recovered the stolen jewellery.

Despite pleading not guilty, she was convicted of three counts of burglary at Guildford Crown Court and sentenced on October 9, 2026.
