Italy is one of those places where I find myself wanting to photograph just about everything. 🇮🇹🤍
The buildings, the little streets, the light hitting the walls in the late afternoon. I love wandering around a new city with my camera because you never really know what you’re going to find around the next corner. Sometimes it’s a place you’ve seen a hundred times in photographs, and sometimes it’s something you weren’t even looking for.
I think that’s one of my favorite parts of traveling. I get to see somewhere new, take my time looking at things, and photograph whatever catches my eye. These are a few of the things I came home with from Italy.
Next up is Cairo, Egypt, where my family and I will spend two weeks traveling around the country. And I’m already debating what camera gear to bring. 😂 We’ll be moving around a lot, sleeping in the desert under the open sky, taking a sleeper train from Cairo to Luxor, and doing plenty of adventuring along the way.
Do I bring my nice camera? Just my
@campsnapcamera for the ease and portability? My little Fuji? All of the above?
Photographers, I need your advice. What do you actually bring when you’re traveling somewhere you’ll be constantly on the move? Because I’ve learned that there’s a difference between a vacation and a trip, and this one is definitely a trip. 🤍
