This piece is one of my earliest experiments from when I was in sixth form. It embellishes gruesome themes such as violence, agony, and pain. I’ve used fabric manipulation to coat numerous coatings of black and red spray paint giving it an old crusty bloody texture.
In the process of poking in the spikes around the plackets I accidentally gashed the spike through my flesh and I was bleeding deeply.
Blood, sweat, and tears, goes into this shit.
