I couldn’t let the team have all the fun on a shoot like this! 🖤🕯️
I kicked off the day shooting some moody, romantic bridal portraits before handing the reins over to Edmond on our team to cover the rest of their incredible Gothic wedding. There is just something about this aesthetic that makes my creative heart skip a beat 🖤 I had to sneak in, play with the dark tones, and capture a few magical frames before heading off to cover my own event for the day!
Edmond absolutely crushed the rest of the day, and these two looked like poetry in motion. Massive congratulations to the stunning newlyweds! 🍷🥀✨

It has been such a tough time for me all this while, with no hope, no uncertainty, no light at the end of the tunnel, but I'm finally back. I wrote this a couple of weeks ago after a meditation where I thought about what the world needs more of. I felt this tremendous feminine beauty combined with strength and boldness, and it made me cry tears of sadness as I thought about all the things I wished for my younger self, but also cry tears of joy for all the things I now see possible in my life and witness every day in other amazingly feminine and enlightened women. As far as my politics go, there are two women who have most impacted my belief in humanity and what this country can be. They are brilliant, passionate, empowering and filled with a wealth of information that I only wish I had. @tressiemcphd @heathercoxrichardson If you are not certain that you can make a difference, I encourage you to listen to one podcast, read one newsletter or just watch one Instagram post that either of these women has made.
