A good portion of my TBR was filled with paranormal romance, witchy reads, demons, dark fantasy, and a little supernatural mystery. It was fun leaning into the darker, more magical side of romance this month. Overall, October was the perfect mix of spooky, swoony, magical, and a little bit of everything! แดแด„แด›แดส™แด‡ส€ ส™แดแดแด‹๊œฑสœแด‡สŸ๊œฐ : What I Read this Month ๐™ˆ๐™ฎ ๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™–๐™ฉ๐™จ: ๐Ÿ“– 16 Books ๐Ÿ“„ 6,283 Pages Three 5 ๐‘บ๐’•๐’‚๐’“ โญ๏ธ Thirteen 4 ๐‘บ๐’•๐’‚๐’“ โญ๏ธ My fav 5 star this month was: Entities to Lovers by @mallorymarlowewrites โœจโ€ขโœจโ€ขโœจ แดแด„แด›แดส™แด‡ส€ สœษชษขสœสŸษชษขสœแด›๊œฑ: I got to attend the Jodi Picoult 30 Chapter Tour stop in OR, which was a great night. My favorite part was learning about the research that goes into her books. I could listen to her stories all day. Sheโ€™s captivating. The hubs and I also got away for a long weekend in San Diego, just the two of us (sorry, kids ๐Ÿ˜‚). I got to visit two new-to-me bookstores, Mysterious Galaxy and Meet Cute. I always love visiting bookstores when we travel. A few non-bookish highlights: We made it to our local farm to pick out pumpkins and definitely got our fill of apple cider donuts and apple slushies. We slowed down a bit this month, and it was a nice change of pace. โœจโ€ขโœจโ€ขโœจ 2026 ๐‘ฎ๐’๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ช๐’‰๐’†๐’„๐’Œ ๐‘ฐ๐’ ๐Ÿ”Ž Hmm, will I hit 200 books this year? It was a stretch goal, but now that Iโ€™m getting so close, Iโ€™d love to make it happen. November and December can be a toss-up as life gets busy, so weโ€™ll see. When it comes to ARCs, I definitely fell behind. I overcommitted, and balancing reading for fun with reading what I need to is a constant battle. Iโ€™m trying to get caught up so I can end the year in a good spot.
