Some of you have spent years trying to find friendship in family members who have never made you feel emotionally safe.

And perhaps the hardest part to accept is that you’ve been confusing the obligation to maintain a relationship with the safety required to be vulnerable in one.

Being related doesn’t automatically make someone trustworthy. And loving your family doesn’t mean you have to keep giving them access to parts of your life they haven’t demonstrated the capacity to handle.

This isn’t about dishonoring family, encouraging division, or withholding love. It’s about recognizing that shared history does not guarantee emotional safety, and familiarity does not automatically produce friendship.

If you’re fortunate enough to have family members who are also your friends, cherish them. That’s a blessing.

But if you don’t, I hope you stop feeling guilty for acknowledging what the relationship actually is instead of grieving what you’ve always wanted it to be.

You can love people without continuing to hurt yourself trying to be close to them, friend. I hope this helps the people who need it most ❤️🫶🏾

Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mencatat kenaikan rata-rata harga beras di tiap tingkatan, dengan rincian tingkat eceran mencapai Rp 15.765 per kilogram (kg), di tingkat grosir sebesar Rp 14.994 per kg, dan penggilingan Rp 14.365 per kg.

“Harga beras yang kami sampaikan merupakan harga rata-rata beras yang mencakup berbagai jenis kualitas dan juga mencakup seluruh wilayah di Indonesia,” kata Deputi Bidang Statistik Distribusi dan Jasa BPS Ateng Hartono pada 2 November 2026.
