Based in the heart of Exeter, the artist is a semi realist who predominantly works in pastel while currently exploring acrylics as she continues to develop her own artistic style.
Alongside her work as a professional psychotherapist she has developed a deep appreciation for observation, emotion, and detail. This attention to the subtle nuances of expression has naturally found its way into her artwork, where she enjoys capturing intricate textures, movement, and the fine details of fur, fabric and the natural world.
Inspired by time spent outdoors walking her dog, hiking, and foraging, much of her work celebrates nature and wildlife. Animals, particularly big cats, are recurring subjects in her paintings, although she is ultimately drawn to paint whatever sparks her curiosity and creativity. She loves working with colour and strives to create pieces that evoke life, character, and a sense of connection.
Although still at the beginning of her artistic journey, receiving several awards for her artwork over the past few years has strengthened her confidence and encouraged her to continue exploring and growing as an artist. She looks forward to seeing where this creative path leads and to sharing that journey through her work.
