A leather moment ☺️

When the blood is in the streets, everyone hits the panic button, instead of seeing this as an opportunity.

Some of the greatest companies in the world are reporting stellar earnings (not all), and we are disregarding it because of the headlines and social media.

Imma keep pounding the table, and taking all the criticism for saying this is an amazing buying opportunity for those who can endure a bit of pressure.

Everyone will have an idea of what they think the markets will do, I’m not here say there won’t be some downside pressure.

But what I do know, is no matter how far we look back, those that were willing to buy in deep red, smiled at their positions when the markets turned, and everyone else chased.

The news, social media, the barbershops, everyone is pitching fear and take cover.. Imma keep buying these 1-2-3% dips and look forward to 2028 and said I’m glad I was bold enough to see it.

Virginia Deaver (@virginia.deaver) grew up in southern Appalachia and now paints in Los Angeles. She studied classics, political science, ethics, and philosophy before turning to the canvas, and those moral questions still drive her work. Her figures are caught in suspended moments, just before impact or revelation, when something is about to break or change. She draws on performance and literature, and her paintings move between gesture and abstraction. The scenes carry a magical realism, along with disaster, tenderness, and longing.
