SISU — THE POWER WITHIN. Born in the cold. Driven by fire.❄️🔥🇫🇮 Introducing Finland’s National Costume for Miss Universe @missuniverse 2026, worn by Miss Universe Finland @veeragronlund and designed by @aviadarikherman A sculpted silver corset, a shimmering skirt and delicate embroidered leaves echo the ice, frost and beauty of the Finnish North. A sweeping flame cape reveals the fire within — the courage and determination that carry us forward. Ice represents where we come from.💎 Fire represents what carries us forward.🔥 At its heart is SISU: the quiet determination to keep going, even when you feel you have reached your limits. This costume is also a tribute to the women of Finland. The pioneers who opened doors, the generations who built our country and the women who continue to lift others as they rise. When Veera steps onto the Miss Universe stage, she will carry their spirit with her. 🇫🇮 This is SISU. This is the POWER WITHIN Photography: @lazekki Location: @billnasruukki Styling: @aleksandrakantola Production: Miss Suomi / Finnartist Oy National Director: @sunnevasjogren #nationalcostume #missuniverse #finland #misssuomi #missuniversefinland Fire in her eyes. SISU in her soul. 🔥❄️ Every detail tells a story. From frost-like embroidery to jewelled flames, Aviad Arik Herman’s design brings ice and fire together — with flame-shaped glasses as the finishing touch. OLIVIA BAY IS OUR NEXT COFFEE TABLE BOOK COVER STAR. The face of Folie Magazine’s Fall/Winter 2026 Issue No. 3. You can order now. Now, we’re giving you an exclusive sneak peak: a first glimpse at our conversation with Olivia, a selection of photographs from the shoot, and the story behind our next cover. . There's something deliciously contradictory about Olivia Bay (born November 24, 2005, in Madrid, Spain): she's just named her debut EP El amor no está de moda (Love Is Out of Fashion), yet she's still determined to understand it, sing about it and, perhaps, believe in it again. Following her time on Operación Triunfo, the Madrid-born artist is rewriting the rules of the game, turning her own romantic experiences into an emotional diary where vulnerability doesn't need a filter. Caught somewhere between the dizzying feeling of starting from scratch, the urge to find an identity of her own and the hope that someone will listen to her songs and think, "I've been through that too", Olivia is discovering that growing up isn't about having all the answers, but about daring to ask the right questions. Because if love is out of fashion, feeling everything, making mistakes and finally refusing to put yourself second are still the ultimate statement. .
