Africa’s industrial future will be shaped by stronger partnerships and investments across borders. Dangote Group is exploring new opportunities to expand its industrial footprint into Egypt following a high-level visit by Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, and a delegation of senior government and industry officials.

President and Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote welcomed the engagement as a reflection of growing African integration, reinforcing the Group’s Vision 2030 ambition to drive industrialisation across the continent. With Nigeria and Egypt combining significant market potential, energy resources and industrial capabilities, the collaboration could unlock new investments, create jobs and strengthen Africa’s productive capacity.

We don't value what we have in Nigeria. While other African countries are wooing Dangote we're calling him monopolist the moment he announced going into steel production and scrapped that idea as a result. Meanwhile we continue to import steel..

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. My name is Teacher Yusuf, and I am a teacher at Madrasatu Yusuf, located in Kiparanganda Village, Kikongo, Mkuranga District, Pwani Region, Tanzania. I would like to take this opportunity to reach out to you and kindly request your support for our madrasa, which provides children with education in the Holy Qur’an and the teachings of the religion of Allah. Previously, I submitted a request to you regarding this matter. However, up to now, we have not yet received assistance, and we continue to face significant challenges. Currently, we teach the children in the living room of a private individual's house, as we do not have our own permanent premises. Therefore, with great respect and humility, we kindly appeal to you to help us secure a permanent plot of land for these children who are learning the religion of Allah. Your support would make a great difference in the lives of these children and would be a continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), for which we hope you will receive a great reward from Allah. Wassalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
