💔 Nine people perished when a Learjet 60 crashed beside a busy road in Palm Beach County, Florida, on November 1. The private jet was traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when it plunged nose-first into the ground and erupted in flames. Dashcam footage captured the impact just feet from passing vehicles, while officials reported no immediate injuries on the ground. The close proximity to traffic made the crash especially shocking, with drivers narrowly escaping the impact. Investigators said the aircraft encountered turbulence and icing before going down, but the cause remains under investigation. The NTSB is examining the wreckage and the events leading up to the crash to determine what happened during the flight’s final moments.
