The moment I first saw Socrates and his son, Baby Billy, I knew I would love them forever. Socrates truly lived up to his name. He loved learning — whether it be playing games & working through puzzles or figuring out new tricks & even playing a toddler piano!
My beautiful boy & I had a special connection. He somehow always knew when I was just waking up + would immediately start wheeking. He greeted me every time I'd enter the room, begging for his favorite treats or for cuddles. The first time I played kalimba for him, I played “Can't Help Falling in Love” and watched his eyes get heavy + nose twitch as he drifted away to snooze for a few minutes. It was such a sweet moment 🥹❤️
Socrates was a more reserved piggie. Gaining his trust + being loved by him remains one of my life’s greatest honors. He & BB changed — and continue to change — my life for the better. I cherish the time I got to spend with such special little souls & will love, miss, and honor them for the rest of my life. #petlovers #globalanimalofrenda
