I had zero budget for anything except editing. I got a subscription to Adobe Stock images and Photoshop and learned how to do it myself. Ask my friend group how many versions of my cover I sent them before I was finally happy with it

Literally always a way. If an author came to me and asked me to do a cover for free, I'd do it. We'll, okay, I'd probably ask for a free copy of the book, but I feel like that is a very small price to pay 😂🤷 ai is NOT art. I'd rather read a book without a cover than one with an ai image

I've said it before, I would literally buy a book with a cover of some cheeky stick figures before I'd buy a book with a cover made with AI. Use some crayons, upload that ish and start selling. Eff AI
