So, a little update on my experience trying to integrate my Meta Quest 3S headset with D5 Render.

Initially, I thought the problem was me. I figured I probably wasn’t connecting the headset properly or that there were some settings I hadn’t quite figured out. The setup took a while, and even after getting everything connected, the experience was still quite buggy. The visuals weren’t particularly smooth, and navigating through the virtual environment wasn’t as seamless or immersive as I’d hoped.

However, after doing some digging and getting feedback from others, I’m beginning to realise that the issue might not necessarily be my setup, but rather the VR integration and performance of D5 itself.

I’m curious to know if anyone has actually managed to get a consistently smooth VR experience using D5 Render and the Meta Quest 3S. If you have, I’d genuinely love to know how you achieved it.

I’ve also heard that Unreal Engine offers one of the smoothest and more flexible workflows for immersive architectural visualisation, so I’m seriously considering learning it.

I’m very open to learning Unreal Engine so If anyone is willing to teach, mentor, or point me towards helpful resources, please reach out.

Always learning, always experimenting! 😊
