As beautiful as alcohol ink is, it comes with a couple challenges. 🤍
One of my biggest struggle is definitely dealing with the fumes. I usually prefer working outside, where there is always fresh air. But now the weather is getting colder and rainier and it's not always an option anymore. Working indoors requires proper ventilation and wearing a mask, which can sometimes be quite limiting and means I have to set up a lot more and leave the windows open for a long time.
But despite these challenges, I still love this medium so much. Watching the colours move and seeing each unique piece come to life makes it all worth it. 🤍

My wife used to do a lot of those, and I made her a fume hood that ventilated through the wall to the outside of the house with a bathroom bent that had a light and Bluetooth for music. It was pretty cool.
