Basin and Ranger

In the middle of nowhere in central New Mexico, we needed to be up and in a line by 7 AM. I searched for a place to camp nearby and dropped a pin here, having no idea this remarkable adobe ranch house and stone reservoir were tucked away on the property. It turned out to be the perfect spot for the night, with an unexpected afternoon of exploring before heading out to join a three-mile-long line the next morning.
