first 50k (*53k) and quite keen to do that again !!

a very fun day out and super happy to come away with 2nd, though definitely wasn’t expecting a sprint finish after 50km of running !! big shoutout to @kirstyskyedickson for making me work right to the finish line

on a more personal note, feeling quite proud of how far my body has come. there was a time when I wasn’t sure I’d race competitively again, so it feels pretty special to be back doing this. still lots to work on, but happy with the progress and trusting the process

big thanks to @lewismosescoach for all the help getting me to this point — looks like we’ve got some summer alpine racing to prepare for now !! 🏔️🥐
