Our first video of Beyond The Mask 💜

Kicking things off with Luke who's sharing an important message for men.

Reach out. Mind yourself. And if you're struggling, talk to someone. Whether that's a friend, family member or therapist, give people the opportunity to support you by letting them know what's going on.

A massive thanks to Luke for taking the time to get involved and support this year's campaign. Really appreciate it! 💜

The donation link is now live (in my bio) with all donations going to Shine A Light Suicide & Mental Health Awareness

By letting us know your story is powerful. People realise it can happen to any walk of life, no matter who you are. It gives themselves permission to look after themselves where they thought they couldn't.

Fair play to you being so open on your own situation as you have with other things in your life. Of all the comments here most are from females endorsing your message. I assume your followers tend to be male majority. I think a lot of men don't know how to effectively listen and be there for someone to be honest. Be it telling someone"it could be worse", "that's not a big deal", "I'll say a prayer for ya" etc can all he highly dismissive of what's being said and the distrust any particular situation is causing. Could be a young lad with drug debt , a chap who is gay and afraid to come out. An older guy who loses his job and has no financial security etc. I've been to a few theraists over the years with different health concerns having huge effects on my mental health and to this day still doing therapy. Maybe I'll do it for years, who knows. Good on you for speaking so open. There are far too many men ending their lives early. It's a tragedy.

Where I live, there is a men's group that goes for a walk once a week, and I think it's brilliant for men to talk.
