👀 Is Avatar: Seven Havens setting Ulan up for a bigger role in Season 2?

Fans noticed that Ulan, the young waterbender introduced in Episode 1, makes several appearances throughout the season.

He’s first introduced when his mother is reluctant to let him join the Bending Brigade. Later, during the attack on the city, he tells Pavi that although he’s scared, he still has the ability to help people.

Interestingly, this reminds us of Kuvira, who initially appeared as a minor character in Book Three of The Legend of Korra before becoming the main antagonist of Book Four.

And here’s an even funnier coincidence: Both Ulan and Kuvira have a mole near their eye! 😂

Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean Ulan will become a major character, but the similarities are pretty interesting.

Could Ulan be the next Kuvira, or are fans reading too much into his screen time? 👀

İt’s crazy how his name literally means Rain in the Philippines and yet, we don’t have paramount + here to watch the show 🙄

We followed him as a background character from the first episode where Karthik recruited him. I hope him and Nisha interact next season.

Ngl this is hilarious to me💀 The bending brigade is so trash that when a brigade member actually does something impressive, ts feels like a set up🤣 Jokes aside, benders seem to be overall weaker in this show due to a lack of spiritual/cultural connection to the elements—which makes total sense. But man, you’d think that even if the benders had a weaker connection to the element (thus weaker bending), them being militarized/trained would at least make them competent fighters or make them operate like a tactical unit but ig not. The brigade exists to be the jobber brigade.
