October, you were a LIFE-SHIFTING month! 🥹❤️

Moved back to Houston, launched the rebrand of my L1FT app, started planning my first wellness event since having Joya, reconnected with people I love, and FINALLY found my consistency in the gym again!

Had my first coffee in 3 YEARS ☕️😳, started making more time for myself, and slowly finding my rhythm again outside of being a new mom.

Oh, and we made absolutely ZERO progress weaning Joya off the boob. That girl said NOT TODAY everyday!!!!😭😂

So much change, so much growth, and a whole lot of figuring things out along the way.

Here’s to November and whatever this next chapter brings. ✨

I breast fed my son until the day before his 3rd birthday 😫 It hurt both physically and emotionally. But once he was old enough to ask for it and lift up my shirt in public, it was TIME.

I’ve been training with Joya since she was in my belly, and there are definitely good days and hard days. Before becoming a mom, I could spend hours in the gym and train whenever I wanted, so this has been an adjustment. Now, even if I only get 30 minutes in, I take it. I’ve learned to work with the season I’m in instead of waiting for the perfect time. The workouts look different now, but we still moving over here!💪🏾🤎
My life is pretty simple these days, if you ask me. I’m learning to balance motherhood, running a business, chasing my dreams, and still finding little ways to pour back into myself. Of course I have moments where I daydream about a little more time for me 😂 but I wouldn’t trade this season for anything. I finally have the mother-daughter relationship I always wished I had, I’m just the mom now. 🥹 And there’s something so special about getting to create that relationship with her every single day. At the same time, there’s still so much of me I want to pour into my career. I’ve been working on a dream for almost three years, and it’s finally almost here. I’m excited, nervous, proud… all of it. So many exciting things are coming, but I’m also trying not to rush through the season I’m in just waiting for the next one. And since October is DV Awareness Month, please be a little kinder to people. You truly never know what someone may be carrying behind the parts of their life you get to see.
