🏓 Bringing table tennis to more people
On Saturday (31 Oct), we took table tennis into the community at Westfield St Lukes Shopping Centre, creating an easy and welcoming way for people to pick up a bat and have a go.
A big part of the day was about reaching people who may not currently play sport and showing that table tennis can be a fun and accessible way to get active.
National Squad athletes Josephine Chong and Oscar Du joined us for coaching, exhibition matches and trick shots, while Auckland Table Tennis Association was there to help people discover ways to keep playing after the event.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, picked up a bat and gave table tennis a go ❤️🏓
