🇹🇭 Thai local people care about nature because they know it’s why people come to Thailand. 🇮🇩 Bali is full of bule who want to sell $20 Acai bowls and $9 coffees, and have over saturated the business market in Bali. They’re simply incomparable with Bali it its present state.

Ppl@are educated in Indonesia and their government do have anything in place for them for rubbish removal it’s depressing and the government is corrupt do they take the ppls money

Education like Japan - taught to be respectful of people and their environment , but also have a government infrastructure that supports it .

They clean the beach at Patong I know, everyday they rate any rubbish up & pick it up when we’ve been there. It’s mostly very clean.

As much as I fully respect their dedication to their Religion, the main cause of rubbish in Indonesia especially Bali is what is used in their offerings. Although a lot is natural plant parts it is stapled together and so much is wrapped in plastic and even includes those small plastic water containers. The fact that it is placed on the ground/streets etc I feel some people think if it's ok to have offerings all over the place a simple disposal of other rubbish won't matter .....but it all adds up sadly 🥺🫶🙏

Differently education , Bali needs to start educating the young . The disposal of the rubbish needs to be addressed as well .
