Rain under the overhang.
One badly timed sit-down.
Then the loudest "Oof" behind me.

Some people think meet day is only about staying focused.
But most of it is handling the unexpected.

Control the breath.
Control the reset.
Control the completely awkward moment when you sit down without looking,
realise someone was already lying there, and jump straight back up in surprise.

No PA this time.
Just heavy rain, one muffled thud, a sharp gasp, and one very unfortunate "Oof" that says everything.

That's why I love the routine.
Because routine leaves room for the ridiculous little accidents too.
It keeps you honest.
