Get creative with 'Outfit Out Loud', an upcycled fashion workshop for LGBTQIA+ people aged 18+ to explore identity, self-expression and creativity through fashion.
🧵 Learn basic sewing and alteration skills, experiment with deconstruction and reconstruction, or push your design into haute couture and avant-garde territory. Clothing becomes a canvas for celebrating individuality, queer identity and personal style while giving discarded garments a new life.
The program will run at two venues for two separate participant groups:
📍Woods Street Arts Space in Laverton on 11 & 18 November
📍@louisjoelartscommunity in Altona on 14 & 22 November
Clothing for the workshops has been kindly donated by @green_collect, giving quality pre-loved garments a new life while encouraging sustainable alternatives to fast fashion ♻️
