Ok… so as both a Britney fan and as someone who’s worked in historic preservation… I splurged on something… a piece of Britney history.

Original 16mm film from her 2001 “The Joy of Pepsi” commercial! 📽️

The commercial features a song and choreographed dance directed by Wade Robson, Britney’s personal choreographer. She wears costumes by costume designer Susan Chevalier who worked with Britney’s personal stylists, Kurt and Bart for the looks in the commercial.

This entire era was EPIC. It’s always been my personal favorite of hers. It being the 25th anniversary of one of her most beloved albums and eras (and Britney’s personal favorite)… I decided I had to own a piece of its history. (thanks Affirm payment plan 😁).

I plan to have this 25 year old film professionally scanned to 4k to be able to share with fellow fans the clearest version ever experienced of this iconic part of Britney’s career. I also hope to share the process of having it restored and scanned. 🤓🔎
