The dictionary has been keeping up with internet culture, and some of the words that have officially made their way into it sound like they came straight out of a group chat.
Terms like “vibe coding,” “copium,” and “rickroll” have gone from internet slang to recognized dictionary entries. Even “looksmaxxing,” “crashout,” “cuffing season,” and “glow up” have earned their place, showing just how much online culture influences the way we speak.
It’s funny to think that words and phrases once used as memes or jokes are now officially part of the English language.
