🎉 We had a record-breaking half term at Derby Museums with over 10,000 people visiting our three sites over half term, enjoying a mix of art, making, exhibitions and family activities.

✨ Over 5,000 people came to the Museum of Making, including those attending our annual Assemble: Derby’s Making Festival.
🎨 4,400 visitors explored Derby Museum and Art Gallery, making the most of the last chance to see Wright of Derby: From The Shadows exhibition.
🧭 And Tomb Raider fans travelled from across the world to experience Lara Croft: 30 Years On at Pickfords’ House.

This means last month we saw over 22,000 visitors across all three sites, making October 2026 our busiest post-pandemic month on record.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited and helped make it happen. ❤️
