I can’t believe that Super Mario Galaxy just turned 19 years old!! It still feels like yesterday that I was introduced to this absolutely beautiful game at just 5 years old! 💫☄️

This GameStop promotional poster is one of my favorite pieces ever. To my knowledge, this is the first actual render ever associated with Super Mario Galaxy, prior to any actual game render or cover art being shown. I truly love how up to this point, Mario was still being changed/updated, and for some reason it feels like this poster render had him stuck between the GameCube/Wii era. It wouldn’t be too much longer after that, in which we’d finally see the beloved cover art and gameplay that would capture all of our hearts forever!!! ❤️💙
