UNBLOCK CUBA! This past week we’ve been picketing the banks across Britain, drawing attention to their confiscation of aid bound for Cuba, and the wider British state’s complicity in upholding the de facto boycott of socialist Cuba. Solidarity with the groups who came out to support Cuba! Under siege, Cuba gears its economy towards preserving the gains of the revolution, including constitutionally enshrined rights to healthcare, housing and trans healthcare. Since January, the total oil blockade imposed by the US has doubled infant mortality rates, destroyed crops, and meant 12000 children on surgery waiting lists in Cuba. We must be loud, as the silent genocide becomes deafening. Viva Cuba Socialista! Hands off Cuba!
