Bleeding is a really common side effect of hormone treatments (HRT) and it usually settles with time.

This week on my @drlouisenewsonpodcast, consultant gynaecologist @drtonychalhoub joined me to talk about why so many women with bleeding on HRT are referred urgently, when a careful history often shows they've forgotten a few days of progesterone on holiday or their patch hasn't stuck on properly.

Tony also explained how bleeding can sometimes come from vaginal dryness that vaginal hormones could help, and why women who are informed and ask questions make better care possible.
If you have any bleeding on HRT, please speak to your doctor so it can be properly assessed and listen to the full conversation now via the link in my bio.

This weekend, Carolyn and I built a pig tractor in just a day using gates and other parts from Tractor Supply Co. This pig tractor and two chicken tractors (with pigs in them too) are being pulled and watered by my Clucks Capacitor. The plan is to raise some of the pigs in the woods on acorns, in an electric fence, when we feel like they’re big enough not to become coyote snacks. Yesterday we confirmed they have an appetite for chestnut oak acorns!

I really needed to clarify a few statements from my recent video with @walksofconfidence
