Very proud of my daughter, Jazzy and all of our @nonosina1965 dancers, upholding and honoring our Polynesian culture 🌺 with their beautiful, and GRACEFUL storytelling movements at the @rosebowlstadium in front of 33,000 strong.

The art is in our dance.
The love is in our mana.

Clearly I’m a very proud faced papa and “uncle Rock” 😎😉 to all these young ones - keep reaching for more, humble, hungry and every step along the way matters.

Shout to @uclaathletics + @uclafootball for all the love - and stay undefeated 🤍💪🏾

and shout to the core lady bosses @tiana_nonosina @kay.faam @laurenhashianofficial for making it all happen with love, pride, discipline x

“Isn’t everyone on the autistic spectrum?” Spoiler: no.

I hear this all the time, and it can feel incredibly invalidating. The spectrum isn’t a line from less autistic to more autistic. You might relate to some autistic traits, but that doesn’t mean everyone is on the spectrum.

I find it more helpful to talk about support levels. I’m level one, so I have lower support needs than someone who’s level three, who might need round-the-clock care, for example. That doesn’t make one of us more autistic than the other. My support needs may be lower, but autism still has a huge impact on my life.

Just as every neurotypical person is different, every neurodivergent person is too, and everyone’s experience is valid.

Save this for the next time you need to explain why we aren’t all on the spectrum ❤️

The family and friends of 23 year old Latifa Akumu are demanding justice after she was found murdered and dumped in River Nithi, Chuka.

Latifa had been reported missing before her body was discovered in the river, leaving her loved ones devastated.

Samreen Kaur has spoken out against the constant comments about her relationship with Indian cricketer Arshdeep Singh. Tired of being judged and accused of dating the pacer for fame, she took to Instagram to call out the double standards surrounding their relationship. Samreen made it clear that she is happy with her choices and does not need to justify her personal life to strangers on social media. Arshdeep also showed his support, sharing her post and making it clear that he has no patience for those who continue to pass judgement on their relationship.
