Anthony and I first fell in love with Steven Young Lee's work at the 2016 Renwick Invitational, so it was great to see his exhibition, Saryeong: Four Sacred Creatures, at @lillstreetgallery in Chicago before it closed!

The exhibition brings together four porcelain vessels inspired by Korean mythology featuring the blue dragon, white tiger, red bird and black tortoise. Ironically, symbols are meant to represent protection and balance and yet, I always loved the destructive moments of his exquisite craftsmanship. ❤️
