On Monday’s International Day to #EndImpunity for Crimes against Journalists, UN Secretary-General @antonioguterres calls for the protection of media professionals worldwide so they can safely carry out their essential work.
He noted that journalists are often harassed, surveilled, sued, physically attacked or imprisoned — and sometimes even tortured or killed — simply for doing their jobs.
“Nothing should impede journalists’ ability to do their work, which is fundamental to human rights, democracy and the rule of law.”

We urged the UN to address the human rights violation happening right now in the streets of the United States of America.. They are murdering US citizens in the streets, and the murderers are not being held accountable... They're throwing women and children in concentration camps. They are raping all of them. Here in Brazil, a Supreme Court justice lifted the confidentiality of a journalist who exposed a crime. Brazil is no longer a democracy; we are rapidly heading toward becoming the next Venezuela.

And what have you done about it? Several Brazilian jornalists either are in jail or as refugees in other countries, and then UN says Trump is wrong !! Brazil needs help, there is a dictatorship of theafs in our justice and presidency.
