@aizaahmedstudio is an interdisciplinary artist working across painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, and video. She constructs theatrical worlds that unsettle fixed ideas of nationhood, masculinity, and belonging. As a Pakistani woman shaped by multiple geographies, she navigates an intimate yet distanced relationship with home, often returning to the 1947 Partition and its unresolved legacies. Staging is central to her practice. Drawn to the overlooked apparatus of performance—the props, curtains, and supporting figures—she animates these elements into immersive tableaux where fact and fiction blur. Ahmed’s figures, often male, explore the fragility and performance of masculinity. Informed by film, family archives, public ceremonies, and observation, they oscillate between confidence and collapse, revealing both the spectacle of power and the vulnerability beneath it. Humor and exaggeration, rooted in her blind-contour process, become tools of critique and empathy. As puppeteer, she choreographs her subjects with tenderness and irony, allowing comedy and grief to coexist on the same stage and opening space to imagine history anew. Aiza Ahmed has been recognized by the Rema Hort Mann Fund as a talented emerging artist, we look forward to seeing the next steps she takes in her career. This year she has been recognized as the Peter Hort Emerging Artist - a special honor in Peter's legacy. Read more about Aiza’s work and other recognized emerging artists via the link in our bio. ✨I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be part of “The World Is The Work”, The Drawing Center’s Fall Benefit Exhibition and Auction, opening on September 29 in New York!✨ This is a particularly meaningful milestone for me, as drawing has always been at the heart of my practice. To be part of an exhibition at The @drawingcenter whose longstanding commitment to the medium has been so inspiring to me, feels extra special🤍 So excited to be showing alongside artists whose work I’ve admired for years, including @nicoleeisenman @broadcove #DanaSchutz @tunjiaj @marceldzama @sophievonhellermann and so many others! The exhibition brings together the perspectives of an exceptional group of curators, including @ceciliaalemani @rebdigi @lhoptman @lauren1cornell @rosarioguiraldes @ebotron @rashidjohnson and others. More details are available through The Drawing Center! Tightrope, acrylic on paper, 12 × 9 in., 2026 Image credit: @shaun.roberts.photo . . . . #AizaAhmed#TheDrawingCenter#ContemporaryArt

#Clique, Blueface is questioning why he should settle down when, according to him, he can keep dealing with both women. “Why would I be your husband if I can be another girl’s husband and still fck with you? You don’t have any standards,” he’s quoted as saying. “If I don’t choose any of them, I can have all of them.” Stay connected with more entertainment news and trending stories at OnsiteGlobalMedia.us (link in bio).
