I ran a little experiment with my McDonald's first job story. 🍔

I posted the exact same reel twice. Once as a regular reel, and once as a trial reel.

Here's how it played out:
Regular reel: 16.6K views, 68 profile visits, 3 new followers
Trial reel: 28K views, 333 profile visits, 25 new followers

Same story, same caption, almost the same watch time. But the trial reel got 68% more views and 8x the new followers. 🤯

If you haven't tried it yet, a trial reel gets shown to people who don't follow you first. And you don't have to share it with your followers. You can leave it as a trial reel forever. So if you've got a story you want new people to hear, try posting it as a trial reel.
