From physiotherapy graduates to researchers on major Parkinson’s disease research
Congratulations to Katie Mathews and Amadeusz Lelental on graduating from UCC MSc Physiotherapy programme.
Both are now researchers with PD-Life, an all-island project focused on improving quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s disease.
Katie’s PhD looks at turning exercise from prescription into habit.
Amadeusz’s explores the role of dance in Parkinson’s care.
Led by Prof. Suzanne Timmons, PD-Life brings together experts across neurology, psychology, pharmacy, engineering, and the creative arts to tackle Parkinson’s from every angle.
Congratulations to Katie and Amadeusz as they take this next step in their research careers.
