I knew a guy (Christian college) who did that. He was dysfunction & immature but a few of my friends fell for it & were ready to (reluctantly) give him a chance until I pointed out all the instances in Scripture where God came to BOTH parties, e.g. Mary & Joseph. They were spared a potentially miserable marriage to a dishonest guy. I'm sure others have gone thru with it. Smh.
