Israeli forces raided Burin in the West Bank at 3AM on October 27, detaining 60 residents. They took Ghassan Najjar from his home and assaulted him, causing a head injury. His condition is unknown.
Ghassan co-founded the Burin Land and Farming Cooperative and has spent years supporting farmers facing settler violence. Shin Bet had threatened to detain him if he kept organizing. Now he’s held indefinitely, without charge or trial.
