My favorite part of the roar on First Avenue was the quiet right before it. 🥹 For a few minutes on the Queensboro Bridge, it felt like we were alone together. Thousands of strangers, the sound of our footsteps, and a few voices cheering each other on. There was something so special about having that little stretch of New York just for us. And then we turned the corner and heard the city. 🙌🏻 I wish I could feel those few seconds for the first time again. 🗽❤️ Unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in my life. I get the chills just thinking about it. If you ran NYC, what moment would you go back and feel all over again? Mile 11 has my heart ❤️ ENERGY 💯 #newyorkcitymarathon #queensborobridge #willisyoubitch P.S. On the Willis Avenue Bridge I was yelling “Willis you bitch!!” Idk why but my body felt that little bitch more 🤣🤷‍♀️

Who’s here post celebrating that Dr Senator Abdul El-Sayed turned his Inshallah to Alhamdulillah 🤲🏾💕 Inshallah – إن شاء الله – is one of the most widely used expressions of hope across the Arab world and the broader Middle East and North Africa. You’ll hear versions of it across Arabic, Urdu, Turkish, Farsi, Swahili, and dozens of other languages Rooted in the Qur’an, the Arabic saying translates literally to “if God wills it”. We should be using beautiful words from different languages-for hope 🤲🏾
