Today's life lesson, at my age, with mobility issues, and a walking stick, crossing rivers via stepping stones is a terrible idea, especially when there is a perfectly good bridge!
Yes dear friends I got a third of the way across and felt committed, but looking down to check where I was putting my feet and watching the river rush between the stones made me feel motion sick. There were some hairy moments where I thought I was a gonna, but I made it to the other side. Only at that point did I misplace my foot, luckily just the one wet shoe!
Teddy & @_frankiepants_ had the best time playing in the river and running across the field chasing one another.
Let's see what tomorrow brings!
