Two Proud Boys conducted overwatch from a parking garage. Another flew a drone overhead. Below, at the Central Library here in North Carolina, around 50 Proud Boys from chapters around the country had gathered to oppose the Democratic Socialists of America, who were meeting inside.

The Proud Boys had scouted the location, putting together a five-paragraph field order that included the entrances and exits, communication channels, and medical plans. They had leaked news that they would be attending so supporters of the DSA would show up. Some, inspired by claims — which seem to be completely unfounded — that wealthy leftists had been funding a left-wing “street army” to fight for socialism, wanted to see if the Proud Boys’ presence would bring them to town.

Dressed in their signature black and yellow twin-tipped Fred Perry polo shirts, some with masks pulled up to cover their faces, the men traded insults and curses, alongside some conversation, with counterprotesters on the sun-dappled sidewalk. The police arrived and stayed to observe but made no arrests.

Five of the Proud Boys eventually entered the building, making their way to the meeting in the library’s auditorium. Read more at our link in bio.

been having a lot of tough conversations this year with myself about addiction, focus, and my overall path in life.
I sometimes think that though I have been incredibly lucky on my path- succeeding on YouTube from the age of 15, moving to LA county by 20, taking myself on beautiful trips and achieving a lot of financial freedom- I have also lost touch in some ways. I have not worked a “normal job” since I was 18. it has been hard to discipline myself, and sometimes I don’t know what’s next or what I truly want. I think over the years I have found an identity in being a creator who often posted herself partying, being rebellious at a young age, and finding my niche in what is considered the path of an outlier. that has brought beauty, but also many trials and tribulations. now that I’m 27 and I’ve grown up, and my life has changed in so many big ways the last year through my breakup and moving away, I find myself yearning at times for a new purpose as well as filling a lot of my free time with less than healthy activities because working from home can feel so lonely. there’s nothing I’d truly change about this life I have been given, but now that my YouTube has been taken away in the blink of an eye, I realize how fleeting and temporary everything can be. I’ve turned to alcohol to comfort me many times in adulthood, I think this year I truly realized my relationship with it (and substances in general) needed to change. I will NEVER discredit weed and what it has done for me, especially as a neurodivergent woman, but even that can be unhealthy if it comes before other things, which is why my smoking has slowed. I’ve realized I have so much more in store and I’m muting my own creativity and drive, and I am working to be better with that. 🖤

Rick Ross is giving his legal team their flowers after prosecutors dropped the felony b@ttery by str@ngulation charge against him, citing insufficient evidence. The rapper celebrated the legal victory, declaring, “I told you I had an amazing legal team.”

Ross was arrested on October 1 after his ex-girlfriend, model Jazzma Kendrick, accused him of physically
a$$aulting her during an August altercation at his Miami Beach home. Kendrick alleged that Ross repeatedly struck her, ch*ked her using the collar of her hoodie, and slammed her against a wall. She also shared a photo of her injured lip, claiming the rapper was responsible.

Although the felony charge has been dropped, Ross isn’t completely in the clear. He still faces a misdemeanor domestic v*olence b@ttery charge, to which he has pleaded not guilty.

Ross has maintained his innocence, calling the allegations fabricated.
